skin used for the deerskin moccasin kit comes from reindeer roaming
freely in
the high mountains of Northern Sweden. The skin is naturally
tanned and without chrome. Each kit is designed and handmade by Ewa Ericsson,
using reindeer leather. |

Designer
Ewa
Ericsson lives in North Sweden by a river at the edge of the
woods. She has killed bear in Alaska and was one of the participants in
the 2009
Swedish TV-show Robinson, trying to survive on an island in the
Carribean. She has also designed
and made costumes for the artist Roger Pontare, who twice represented
Sweden in the Eurovision Song contest (1994, 2000). |
